Steps Toward Zonta Membership

Individuals joining Zonta (both Women and Men) are encouraged to attend at least one luncheon business meeting. Participation in a Zonta event is a great way to get to know our members and our activities.  An application needs to be completed, and the membership committee will review qualifications and eligibility of the new member. Upon approval by the board, new members will be invited to join the club.

To ensure professional diversity within each Zonta Club, membership is by invitation only. You must be able to answer yes to the following questions to be considered for membership.

I am a business executive or professional, actively engaged for at least 50% of a normal workweek in a recognized business or profession. 

 

 

I am willing to commit time to service and advocacy projects in my community.

 

 

I am willing to contribute financially to and raise money for local and
international projects that benefit women. 

T H E  Z O N T A  C O M M I T M E N T
Each Zonta Member will:
. Attend monthly meetings
. Attend annual Area and District meetings
. Serve as an active member of club committees
. Pay annual dues and new member fee upon initiation
. Bring at least one new prospective member each year
